Graveyard on site of Strathmartine Church established in 13th century. 17th, 18th and 19th century tombstones; coursed rubble enclosing wall, rubble coped with pyramidal capped gatepiers.
The church of Strathmartine was rebuilt in 1779, but demolished soon after the union of Mains and Strathmartine parishes in 1794 (or 1799). The former church of Mains near Mains Castle (now in Dundee Burgh) became ruinous after the new Mains and Strathmartine Parish Church was built in 1800 (now also in Dundee Burgh).
