GRANARY: repaired, 1989, with walls realigned slightly; rubble re-used where possible, harled brick and breeze blocks for replacement walling. Kiln adjoined to S end. Doorway and window to W elevation; 3 windows and French windows inserted on E elevation. 2 gabled dormers added to E pitch. 2 windows to N gable end, with rubble and brick masonry. ashlar coped skews and brick end stacks.
Sash and case windows with small-pane glazing pattern, and red pantiles (1989).
Seton Mill and Mill Cottage are sited close by at right angles. Historical associations include the legend that General John Cope rested here after the Battle of Prestonpans, and the fact that Mary Slessor, Scottish missionary, dwelt here for a period, with her adopted children from Nigeria. To the south of the mill group lies the rubble wall of the Seton House orchard.
