Statement of Interest

Group with Nos 13, 23-25, 35-45, 4-8, 12-16, 22-26 and 30-50 Kenmore Street. No 15 is the only rear of close building surviving in a largely original state in the whole of Kenmore Street, and of more than local interest. The 1st floor opening was probably accessed from a timber forestair as there are 2 joist holes immediately below. The present houses in Kenmore Street were built on the site of 18th century flax spinners cottages. The houses adjoining to the rear were cow byres before conversion to dwellings.
