The winged figure of Mercury

Uploader's Comments

This statue of Mercury, the winged messenger, stood in the entrance for years, but it used to be on the domed roof of the clock tower until it was blown down in the January gale of 1968. It has now been cleverly relocated under this roof light and points up to the tower.
