Mid-later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay gabled villa. squared and snecked rubble; ashlar dressings. Base course. Stop-chamfered margins. Coped half-piend roofs to projecting window.
W (ESKBANK ROAD) ELEVATION: gabled porch at centre; hoodmoulded pointed-arched doorway to W; boarded door; window to right return.
Small window at centre at 1st floor. Gabled bay to left slightly advanced; bipartite window in projecting ashlar panel at ground; hoodmoulded bipartite window at 1st floor. Canted window at ground in bay to right; dormerheaded and hoodmoulded bipartite window at 1st floor.
E ELEVATION: gabled bay to left advanced; window in advanced panel at ground; corbelled oriel window at 1st floor, with slate roof. Gabled bay to right; window to both floors.
Various sized glazing patterns in sash and case windows. Sawtooth skews to gables and dormerheads. Coped gablehead stacks, advanced from wall on corbels to S. Purple-grey slates. Original cans. Original rainwater goods.
BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: rubble wall, semicircular coped to right on Eskbank Road, low and saddlebank coped to left. Saddleback-capped ashlar gatepiers.
