Earlier-mid 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 5-bay tenement. Ashlar, channelled and painted at ground. W elevation harled with rubble quoins. Base course. Moulded cill course at 1st floor. Raised cills at 2nd floor. Eaves cornice and deep, leaded blocking course.
E (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: enlarged carriage pend with modern soffit, road sets, and several cast-iron pal stones to left. 5-bay shop front with 2 shops to right; plate glass fanlight to shop door (No 109) in left bay with plate glass window in 2nd bay from left; 2-leaf flush panelled door (No 111) in 2nd bay from right, with 2-pane fanlight, flanked by 2 fixed-pane plate glass shop windows. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors.
W ELEVATION: 5-bay (1-2-2). Door in bay to left of centre and at centre; pend in bay to outer right. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors.
N ELEVATION: rubble above adjoining building, No 113 High Street (see separate listing).
S ELEVATIUON: rubble above adjoining building, Nos 101 and 103 High Street (see separate listing).
12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows. 2 piended slate-hung dormer windows to E and W Pitch, canted to E pitch, coped skews. Rendered and lined gablehead stack to S, half rendered brick stack to N. Grey slates.
B Group with Nos 95-99, 101 and 103, and 113 High Street. This building was rebuilt and restored by Midlothian District Council and Sir Frank Mears and Partners, January 1984 (commemorative plaque within pend). "J McIntosh Auctioneers" is painted on a stone within the pend entrance.
