Description

Circa 1840. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house. Coursed rubble,
ashlar dressings. Panelled pilasters at ground and 1st floor
at outer angles and to centre bay; storeys divided by simple
dentilled cornice. Open pedimented centre bay with anthemion
finial; centre door, window above with shell pediment rising
into open pediment. Moulded eaves cornice, blocking course
and pyramidal end finials; 2 canted dormers and 1 small
centre piended dormers. Original lying-pane glazing in ground
floor windows; 4-pane sashes elsewhere. Corniced end stacks;
slate roof.
Small single storey ground floor extension to west continuing
ground floor cornice detail, end finial as at wallhead.
Low coped rubble retaining wall with cast-iron spearhead
railings. Modern box dormer to rear.
