Description

Earlier-mid 19th century. 3-storey building on irregular
corner site dictating the plan. Harled ashlar, painted
margins and base course; raised band course above ground
level and margins to upper windows.
2 bays to Victoria Street, single bay to High Street. Wide
door in rounded W angle, with storm doors and large fanlight
above. Ground floor windows enlarged for public house
premises. N end of NW front with 2 small windows. Acute angle
with NE gable. Doorway impinging on no. 2 Victoria Street
with stair within. Slated roof; harled stack at end of High
Street range, ashlar stack on NE gable.
