Description

George Angus 1840. 2-storey 3-bay neo-classical villa, ashlar-fronted with random rubble sides and rear.

S ELEVATION: centre bay advanced with engaged Greek Doric columned block-pedimented door-piece, flanking ground floor bipartites with recessed margins, 1st floor sill course. Angle piers, main corncie, blocking course and block pediment.

Random rubble side elevatins with 2 ashlar wallhead stacks to each face.Piended slate roofs. Sash and case windows, now with 2-pane glazing pattern.

Low boundary walls ashlar to front, high rubble-built walls to rear.

Statement of Interest

Part of a large uncompleted scheme that wat to envelope the Law. Nos 1 and 3 Dudhope Terrace are near identical.
