Description

George Angus circa 1840-5. 2-storey 3-bay neo-classical villa, ashlar-fronted with random rubble sides and rear.

S ELEVATION: centre bay advanced with engaged Greek Doric columned and corniced door-piece. Canted bay rises through 2 floors at left, architraved and corniced ground floor bipartite to right with architraved and aproned window over. Main cornice, blocking course.

Rubble-built side elevations with 2 ashlar corniced wallhead stacks to each face.

Piended slate roofs. Sash and case windows, now with 2-pane glazing pattern.

Low boundary walls ashlar to front, high rubble-built walls to rear.
