Description

1891-2 C and L Ower. 2-storey, ashlar with polished
dressings on a rubble base. Prominent corner entrance
with pilastered; arched keystoned and corniced doorpiece,
narrow flanking windows in architraves. 1st floor paired
round-headed windows with pilastered archivolts. Main
cornice and simplified pediment. S elevation, ground
floor 3 tripartite windows in architrave; band course
above, 1st floor, 5 round-headed windows with aprons
and impost level string course. Scrolled wallhead stack.
W elevation: details similar to S elevation.
INTERIOR: obscured by false ceilings but some cornices and
the stair survive. Drawing room had a wide arched
laminated timber roof, now hidden.
