Description

Hippolyte J Blanc, 1886. Single storey, rectangular-plan laundry. Brick construction, grey slate piended roof. Door and window at S elevation, 3 sash and case windows at E and W elevations, dentil wallhead course, truncated ridge stack and remains of ventilator.

Statement of Interest

The laundry is lsited for its group value with Red Court, the lodge and coach house. The interior was not inspected but is likely to contain original fixtures. There is a drying-green adjoining at W with 6 cast-iron clothes line posts. A Group with Red Corut, Lodge and Coach House.
