Description

Patrick Thoms and William Wilkie, 1910; small addition to rear 1914. 2-storey, irregular-plan, plain Arts-and-Crafts style villa. Harled, plain red tile piended and swept roof. Multi-pane timber casement windows; deep eaves; harled ridge and wallhead stacks with red ashlar corbels and copes, terracotta cans.

FRONT (S) ELEVATION: piended wing advanced to centre with flat-roofed canted window to ground floor, tripartite to 1st, 2 windows and piended dormer to left return elevation; door with single diamond-pane window and window to angle at left under swept roof at set-back front elevation at right under jettied 1st floor with window.

W ELEVATION: door with sidelights formed from tripartite window to left, window to angle at right, oriel at 1st floor under deep-eaved piended roof.

E ELEVATION: window to ground floor, piended dormerhead above, wallhead stack rising through eaves.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: gable advanced to left with 2 ground floor windows and piended dormerhead, door to right re-entrant angle; 2 windows and

2 piended dormerheads to recessed bays at right.

INTERIOR: original panelled doors and some fitted furniture, some original chimneypieces, plain plaster cornices.
