Description

2 buildings, now all one shop; 2-storey 3-bay range to E
(no 36) built probably circa 1820, 3-storey 3-bay range
to W (nos 30, 32), built mid 19th century, in similar
style. Elevation to Friar's Vennel: all painted droved
ashlar, with projecting cills; corniced segmental-arched
pend to right, remainder of cornice cut away and continuous
modern fascia and shop windows fill remainder of ground
floor; single windows above, all with modern glazing.
Westmost gable built of yellow brick, eastmost gable
buttressed by fragment of no 38 which formerly adjoined.
End stacks; slate roofs.
