Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, T-plan house. Coursed cream sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings.

S ELEVATION: symmetrical 3-bay; panelled door at centre with rectangular fanlight and consoled cornice; windows above and flanking. Set back single storey link to right.

W ELEVATION: gabled; windows to left at ground, to right at 1st floor.

N ELEVATION: lower 2-storey projecting gabled bay at centre with window at ground and rebuilt brick return walls; windows to flanking bay. Single storey boundary wall aligned with gable end obscures ground floor.

E ELEVATION: blank gable end with projecting single storey pitched-roof link at ground.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Ashlar coped skews; brick stacks; grey slates.

BOUNDARY WALL, GATEPIERS AND GARAGE: rubble boundary; gate to left of gable and gatepiers to right with pyramidal caps. Garage to right with pitched roof.
