Description

Earlier 19th century with later 19th century alterations. 2-storeys and basement; symmetrical 3-bay classical house. Cream sandstone ashlar. Balustraded parapet to ground floor cornice forming balconies to architraved 1st floor windows; channelled quoins to 1st floor; deep cornice, balustraded parapet with panelled dies.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway with panelled door and plate glass fanlight; pilastered corniced doorpiece; single window at 1st floor above. Advanced tripartite window to ground floor outer left; 3-light canted window to ground floor outer right; single windows above.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof with wallhead stack to N.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995

Replacement railings and gatepiers to street. Stylised anthemion railings to areas.
