Description

Thomas Brown, circa 1825. 3-storey and basement, 12-bay, classical tenement. Droved cream sandstone; ashlar to ground floor and dressings; base course; channelling to ground floor; dividing band course; panelled aprons to 1st floor windows; cill course to 2nd floor windows; cornice and blocking course.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorways to penultimate bay to outer left and alternate bays to right of centre ; panelled doors; small-paned fanlight to door to left; plate glass fanlights to right. Regular fenestration to ground floor and above.

Predominantly plate glass, timber, sash and case windows; some 4-pane and 12-pane. Grey slate pitched roof; rendered, coped ridge stacks; moulded cans. Original railings to front steps and street.
