Circa 1852. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical rectangular-plan villa.
Squared and snecked rubble; stugged and snecked ashlar N elevation. Base, dividing band, and blocking courses; deep cornice; channelled long and short quoins; bracketted cills; raised window surrounds.
N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: door at centre with raised shouldered surround, keystone, cornice, and pediment to deep-set panelled door; plate glass fanlight. Single windows above and flanking to outer left and right at ground and 1st floors.
E ELVATION: single storey piend-roofed service wing at ground floor.
W ELEVATION: 2 single windows at 1st floor (1 blinded); conservatory clasping SW corner.
S ELEVATION: central stair window; full-height canted window to outer left; regular fenestration in remaining bay.
Plate glass sash and case windows; leaded at N elevation 1st floor centre. Grey slate piended roof; lead flashing; 2 corniced wallhead stacks; octagonal cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1990.
Low coped boundary wall to street; high boundary wall to W and to Lauder Road; high mutual boundary walls; harled single storey addition with grounds; garage.
