Description

Possibly by James Gibson, early in 20th century (cf
MacQuisten Bridge, 1907, nearby). Roadbridge, single
segmental span over River Cart. Red ashlar with
contrasting grey granite. Rusticated voussoirs,
panelled spandrels and outer pilaster strips,
balustraded parapets, wide roadway.
