Description

Mid 19th-century. 3-storey and raised basement,
polished ashlar office premises at corner of Ingram
Street and South Frederick Street, symmetrical 7-bay
elevations to each Street.
2 pilastered doorpieces to Ingram Street, ground floor
office entrance to centre, close door to right. Both
with steps to Roman Doric pilastered doorpieces,
recessed doors with fanlights. Raised basement with
single windows, windows to 1st and 2nd floors
architraved, corniced to 1st. All sash and case windows
with plate-glass glazing.
Band course over basement, cornice over ground, cill
band to 2nd. Eaves band cornice, blocking course.
Piended slate roofs with skylights. Tall corniced axial
stacks with octagonal cans.
