Description

Probably 1870/80, details culled from Alexander Thomson's work. Symmetrical 2-storey double villa, front with wide outer gables these shallow advanced and with fret-worked barge-boards, full-length continuous pilastrade between gables at 1st floor (blind central light at common wall, axial stack above) and stone-bracketted iron-railed balcony; timber porch on either flank; plate glass sashes; end stacks; broad-eaved salte roof. Stone-cleaned bull-faced ashl6r, polished dressings.
