Squared rubble, ashlar dressings, sash windows, corniced stacks, broad-eaved slate roofs. Piended wide 2-bay centre with apex stack over common wall and containing 2 tall projecting gabled bays, these timber-framed at 1st floor; recessed ranges either side, doors in angle, each with timber-bracketted canopied porch; each outer bay has tall ground floor tripartite, pilastraded 1st floor window above stone-bracketted and iron-railed balcony.

Low boundary wall (replaced at left by hedge), gatepiers like those at Thomson's Ellisland (1871).
