Later 19th century. 3-storey, 4-bay tenement with shops at ground floor. Cream sandstone ashlar, slate roof. Detailed as 30-36 Quarry Street; some astragalled upper sashes replaced with plate glass; gable stack cut down.
This building forms part of a block of 3 stepped near-identical buildings with 30-36, and 48-56 Quarry Street. The plans in the Strathclyde Regional Archives suggest these buildings may be by Alexander Cullen.
