Description

Earlier 19th century. Symmetrical pair of 2-storey and attic, 3-bay semi-detached villas. Rendered with raised painted margins.

S (CLYDE STREET/ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: each with 2-leaf door to centre, (fanlit to no 95 and corniced and pilastered to no 96) windows flanking. 3 symmetrically disposed windows at 1st floor.

E (WILLIAM STREET/SIDE) ELEVATION: window to right at ground; 2 widely spaced windows at 1st floor.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: asymmetrical; forestair to 1st floor at no 95 with enclosed boarded porch; curved turnpike stair tower to no 96.

Variety of windows, mostly 4-pane sash and case. Grey slate roof, 2 gabled dormers to each villa to S; 2 rooflights to N elevation, rendered coped stacks to gables with original cans and stack to centre.
