Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical villa with classical details. Cream rubble with ashlar to S elevation, ashlar dressings. Base course; architraved windows to S; pilaster quoins; cornice; blocking course.

S (ENTRANCE/CLYDE STREET WEST) ELEVATION: columnar doorpiece to centre, entablature, fanlit door. Corniced windows flanking. 3 symmetrically disposed windows at 1st floor.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION: window to centre and left at ground. Window to centre at 1st floor.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: 3 bay; stair window to centre. Modern single storey flat-roofed extension abutting.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured by foliage.

Modern windows. Grey slate piended roof; corniced end stacks rendered and linted as ashlar, original cans; roof-light to N.

BOUNDARY WALL AND GATEPIERS: low, ashlar coped rubble boundary walls with square coped piers.
