Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey 5-bay tenement with shops at ground; rendered and lined; narrow central pend with tongue and groove panelling at ground Lane). Corniced 3-bay shop to right (cornice extends over pend) with 2-leaf panelled door and letterbox fanlight at centre; flanking square 2-pane plate glass windows, divided vertically; panelled aprons, base course. To left, shop with replacement cornice and deep-set door at outer left and vertically divided 4-pane plate glass window above panelled apron to right. Painted ashlar margins at 1st floor; outer bays grouped together. Bays to left with moulded architraves (removed from other bays). Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Rendered gablehead stack with original octagonal cans. Grey slates.
