Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey and attic 2-bay yellow, coursed sandstone tenement with shop at ground; painted ashlar margins. At right, 3 steps to deep-set panelled door and rectangular fanlight with pilastered doorframe and cornice; single window above; square plate glass shop window with cill to left; bipartite window above. Cill course at 1st floor. Moulded cornice at eaves; pair of canted, piend-roofed dormers. Rubble gable exposed above lower adjoining property to right with ashlar skew (probably rebuilt in 1926 with the adjoining Post Office); grey slates.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows; front window of dormers 4-pane. Decorative stamped cast-iron downpipe to right emerging from cornice; function replaced by later downpipe and gutter.
