Statement of Interest

B-Group with Numbers 33, 35 and 37-39 Victoria Street. Sir Robert Strange (1721-92), who achieved fame in London as an engraver of Renaissance paintings, lived in the house opposite, (now gone). This house forms part of a group of gable-ended houses along Victoria Street, with closes running between; their early date and original arrangement, merits a B-grouping.
