Description

18th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 4-bay block comprising pair of rectangular-plan crowstepped gabled houses projecting at right angles to rear of Number 51 (listed separately); W house, possibly incororating 17th century fabric, single- over 3-bay; E house 18th century, 3-bay. Harled; eaves course. Plain cement margins to openings.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 3-bay house to E: part-glazed architraved door at ground in bay to centre; small window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bays flanking. W house: window at ground with small window at 1st floor in bay to centre. Window at ground in bay to right. Part-glazed, architraved door at ground in bay to left.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: E house: window at ground in bay to centre. W house: window at each floor in each bay.

W (GABLE) ELEVATION: window at 1st floor in bay to left; harled gablehead stack.

Replacement timber framed tilt and turn windows; rooflights to S pitch. Grey slate roof; stone ridge; harled, coped stack to W; harled, corniced stack to E; uPVC rainwater goods.

Statement of Interest

Adjoining the rear of Number 51, and divided into 2 properties; subsequently divided into flats.
