Description

Later 19th century with later alterations. Single storey and attic, 3-bay symmetrical rectangular-plan end-of-terrace house with gabled dormers, built on ground rising to W. Harled.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: deep-set part-glazed timber-panelled door at ground in bay to centre. Window at each floor in each bay flanking.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Roof in process of re-slating (1998); harled, corniced gablehead stack to W; tall, harled, coped gablehead stack to E; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1998.

Statement of Interest

The largely 18th century row of terraced houses on High Street forms a natural break at Number 20 where the road divides, continuing as Old Scapa Road to the SW and as Glaitness Road further W.
