Description

Mid 19th century, restored by William A Cadell Architects, 1980. 2-storey, 3-bay semi-detached house with forestair, sited on falling ground, asymmetrical gabled elevatiuon to Lion Well Wynd. Cream sandstone rubble, stugged and snecked to W and S elevations. Raised margins, quoin strips.

W (SIDE/STREET) ELEVATION: gabled with corniced apex stack, door to outer right (modern door), conservation plaque over. Window at ground and 1st floor to left. Number 13 adjoined to left.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: stone forestair to boarded door at 1st floor. Window to left and right.

12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof with ashlar coped skews. Sandstone ashlar stacks to gables.

BOUNDARY WALL: gateway adjoining gable wall with cast-iron gate, cream sandstone rubble wall with semi-circular coping to right.
