Description

Mid 19th century, 3-storey, 5-bay traditional symmetrical T-plan

tenement with plain chimney gable centring principal (N) elevation. Roughly coursed rubble walls painted and rendered to N elevation. Ashlar margins, dressed quoins to N elevation only, base course, all droved.

N (NURSERY LANE) ELEVATION: windows regularly spaced, bipartites to outer bays, entrance door in centre bay ground floor, blind window at 1st floor, no window at 2nd floor. 4-pane timber sash and case windows surviving at ground floor and 1st floor E flat. Grey slated roof, cast-iron gutters and downpipes, flanking N gable with hoppers. Substantial coped gablehead stacks with circular cans, no skew copes.

Brick wash house in garden to rear. Grey-slated, piended roof, single flue brick stack with can and boarded doors.
