Description

1848, probably by Andrew Heiton & Son. Italianate 2-storey

ashlar asymmetrical with 3-storey entrance tower at NE and

service court at NW, finely detailed. Tower on NE front has

arched doorpiece with 1st floor balustraded balcony over on console-cantilever brackets, single arched windows top floor, broad-eaved low-pitched pyramid roof; SE front has

asymmetrical gable with canted bay bearing consoled 1st floor

balcony and cartouche over 1st floor window, S bay tripartite

with cartouche parapet; 2 canted bays SW front. NW wing has

consoled window and niche features. Broad-eaved slated roofs, square-shafted chimneys. Rubble garden walls with gatepiers.
