Description

Early 19th century incorporating later 18th century work. Single storey, irregular 5-bay range fronting street (grouped 2-3), projecting from and joined to E return gable of No 38 Cullen Street. Harled with painted margins. 2 doors, that to right flanked by former shop windows, window to outer left; fixed 12-pane glazing. Single end stack; slate roof; red pottery ridge.

Statement of Interest

No 36 forms part of No 38 (Marine Villa); the portion nearest No 38 appears on 1802 and 1817 plans of Portsoy. Nos 38 and 40 Cullen Street are listed separately.
