Description

Earlier 18th century, altered. 2-storey, 3-bay dwelling house. Harled; smooth margins.

W (PRINCIPLE) ELEVATION: central door; large flanking windows. Single windows in outer bays of 1st floor; small window to left.

N ELEVATION: adjoining building.

E ELEVATION: adjoining building.

S ELEVATION: adjoining building.

Modern glazing. Pantiles; rubble stack at left gable.

Statement of Interest

Possibly formed part of E facing row of cottages which may also have included the building at 1 Gotes Lane (now the rear of 8 High Street) and 32 and 33 High Street. A similar row of cottages ran along the south side of the High Street.
