Description

Earlier 19th century. 3-storey, 3-bay shop and tenement. Droved ashlar; base course; band course and cill course at 1st floor; cornice and blocking course.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 1 window and 3-bay segmental bow; shop front at ground; door in 2nd bay from right; single windows in other bays; regular fenestration pattern at floors above; blind windows in 2nd bay from right.

W ELEVATION: adjoining building.

N ELEVATION: 3-storey and basement; windows in left bay at all floors; 3 windows in basement.

E ELEVATION: central pilastered doorpiece; blocked geometrical fanlight; regular fenestration pattern; blind windows in left bay; NE corner chamfered at ground.

Variety of glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Slate roof; straight skew at west gable; stack at west gablehead; coped stack between centre and left bays of east front.
