Description

Earlier to mid 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey, rectangular-plan house (altered from 2) in irregular terrace to E. Squared and snecked sandstone and dry-dash with stone cills; partial eaves course.

N ELEVATION: modern part-glazed timber door with flanking windows to right of centre, window in bay to left and panelled timber door with letterbox fanlight beyond to left; 4 windows at 1st floor.

W ELEVATION: window to outer right at 1st floor.

12-pane and plate glass glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows to 1st floor left, modern top-opening windows elsewhere. Grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks with cans, ashlar coped skews.

BOUNDARY WALL: semicircular-coped rubble boundary wall.

Listed for group value and in consideration of internal alterations combining with adjoining property, and early 19th century No 29 (listed separately with 2 Betson Street).
