Description

Early to earlier 19th century. L-plan steading. Dressed sandstone rubble with long and short work quoins.

S ELEVATION: projecting, piended double bay to right with wide, sliding door to outer right; recessed face to left with cart arch to left below hayloft opening, timber door to right below slated dormer-headed hayloft door breaking eaves.

E ELEVATION: largely blank with 3 roundels to right close to eaves (outer 2 with decorative astragals).

N ELEVATION: variety of elements, including 4 roundels (as above) to centre and left. Timber, lean-to outbuilding to right not included in this listing.

W ELEVATION: gable end with small hayloft opening at centre.

Evidence of 4-pane and decorative glazing patterns. Red pantiles.
