Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, near-symmetrical rectangular-plan gabled villa. Squared and snecked whinstone with sandstone margins and dressings. Base course; quoins; stone hoodmoulds; decorative timber bargeboards.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: columned and corniced door at centre with diminutive ogee pediment; large rectangular plate glass fanlight; inner glazed door. Window in flanking bay to right, hoodmould; round-headed window above breaking eaves in gablehead. Square projecting window slightly advanced to outer left, bipartite window, timber mullion; blocking course, window above breaking eaves in gablehead, decorative looped bargeboards. Single storey service block to outer right.

Lying-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof, whinstone apex stacks with sandstone coping; octagonal cans; rooflight.
