Statement of Interest

The lodge was extended to S during 20th century, possibly in mid 20th century, along with the platformed addition to projection to centre of rear elevation. The lodge is sited at the end of the drive, opposite the main gates to Edrom House (see separate listing). The projection to E is adjoining part of Mid Edrom steading. It is for its historic link to the house and the relationship of this building with those of Mid Edrom house and steading (see separate listings) that it has been considered to be listed at Cat C(S).
