Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay tenement with shops at ground. Ashlar front, whinstone rear. Cornice above shops, cornice and blocking course; architraved windows.

Tenement door in bay to left of centre with deep plate glass fanlight and console to cornice above, modern shopfront to right, square windows flanking door in shopfront to left. Single windows in bays flanking centre with stone mullioned tripartite windows in outer bays. Canted, slate-hung piend-roofed dormers to left and right.

Rear elevation 5-bay with piend-roofed rectangular stair tower projecting at centre with windows, and windows in flanking bays. Bipartite piend-roofed dormers.

Timber sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing patterns. Grey slates, rooflights. Broad ashlar gablehead stack with full complement of cans.
