Description

Early 19th century. Single storey with attic, 2-bay near square-plan asymmetrical crowstepped gabled cottage adjoining No 19 to E, built on ground falling to E. Harled.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern part-glazed door at ground in bay to right. Window with attic window breaking eaves above in bay to left.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: blank wall with single window set to outer left at ground.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION: blank crowstepped gabled wall.

Modern timber-framed windows with hopper top lights. Caithness slate roof; stone ridge; Harled coped gablehead stack to W; common ridge stack to E; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.

Statement of Interest

Adjoining No 17 with access to rear courtyard via narrow alley along W (side) and N (rear) walls.
