Statement of Interest

At the time of the OSA, 'Arnefont' was a hamlet of '80 souls'. The outbuilding is known as 'The Forge', and according to the Board of Agriculture Report on the County of Angus in 1815, alternating layers of stone and turf formed the most prevalent constructional material in the county at that time. Group with SW, SE and '1677' cottages.
