Description

1865 (E-W) and 1885 (N-S), restored 1988. Coped, coursed rubble ha-ha walls enclosing parkland to S of Castle.

Statement of Interest

Property of Strathmore Estates (Holding) Ltd. Ha-ha walls appear on the modified version of Abercrombie's 1768 plan but the present walls seem to date from the 19th century. The N-S walls flank the main Avenue.
