Statement of Interest

Noted in the Ordnance Survey Name Book as "...a small farmhouse 2 stories and in tolerable repair", Eccles Mains remains relatively intact. Its core is thought to date from around 1800 - note how the upper windows virtually abut the eaves. The associated steading, set to the SW, is not included in this listing.
