Statement of Interest

A small open court know as Parliament Close stood to the south in the open angle between Bridge Street and Albert Street. It was here that Orkney's own parliament administered early Scandinavian law until well into the 17th century. Recently harled, the building retains its originality of form and symmetrically arranged glazing pattern.
