Description

18th century? 2-storey, 3-bay house, harled rubble, plain margins.

S ELEVATION: asymmetrical, 2 windows to right at ground, door to left with chamfered margins, 3 windows at 1st, wall with entrance to garden abutting to right and terminating Close.

W ELEVATION: blank gable end, single storey building abutting at ground and linking with 17/21 High Street.

Timber sash and case windows, grey slate, stone skews, corbelled skewputts, brick gablehead stack to W.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubblestone boundary walls to E.

Statement of Interest

Part of the 17-21 High Street and Close B Group, together with the single storey rubble-built range on S side of Close, and the single storey harled building linking with 17/21 High Street.
