Ellis and Wilson, 1895. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan former lodge to Berryden Road Manufactory. Tooled coursed Aberdeen bond granite, finely finished to margins. Long and short quoins and dressings; openings to ground floor infilled.
SW (BERRYDEN ROAD) ELEVATION: gabled; asymmetrical; opening to centre of ground floor, flanked to left by former doorway; round-arched opening set in gablehead to 1st floor, boarded-up.
SE ELEVATION: boarded-up opening to centre of 1st floor.
NE ELEVATION: not seen 1999.
NW ELEVATION: near-symmetrical; 5 openings to ground floor; window to centre of 1st floor, flanked to left and right by piend-roofed windows breaking eaves.
Window openings predominantly infilled or obscured by boarding. Grey slate roof with lead ridge. Stone skews with blocked skewputts. Coped granite gablehead stacks with circular and octagonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen 1999.
6 Berryden Road, now unoccupied (1999), was originally the lodge to the Berryden Road Manufactory.
