Circa 1925. Severe classical monolith, square-plan column, cavetto moulded base and base course to plinth. Yellow ashlar sandstone with bronze panels to plinth and sword and wreath device to column. Bronze plaques bearing rolls of honour to sides of plinth. Inscribed to E, 'IN MEMORY OF THOSE OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-18' and to W, 'IN PROUD REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE WHO FELL IN THE WORLD WAR 1939-1945'.
Stylistic similarities to Airdrie War Memorial suggest a posiible attribution to JM Arthur (see separate listing).
