Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey, 5-bay, rectangular-plan cottage with projecting bracketed eaves. Whinstone and sandstone rubble with pink sandstone margins and dressings. 2-leaf boarded door to outer left and window to right. 3-bay cottage to outer right with 2-leaf boarded door at centre and flanking windows.

Timber diamond-pane casement windows. Graded grey slate piended roof, lead flashings. Paired sandstone octagonal stacks, octagonal cans.

Statement of Interest

Design variation on type and material form used in other paired cottages in Luss.

Statutory address revised in 2016. Previously listed as 'Luss Village, Lonaig Bank and Marlyon'.
